Roasted Garlic Sauce

Roasted garlic and heavy cream can turn one of our simple gravy mixes into a marvelous Italian sauce that’s ideal for chicken, veal, vegetables and pasta.

INGREDIENTS

1. 1 qt. Pioneer® Old Fashioned Biscuit Gravy Mix (94706), Pioneer® Peppered Old Fashioned Gravy Mix (94722), or Pioneer® Country Style Gravy Mix (94595), prepared
2. 2 cups Chicken stock
3. 2 cups Heavy cream (reduced to 1 cup)
4. 2 Tbsp. Roasted garlic, puréed (about 10 cloves)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine prepared gravy with chicken stock, reduced heavy cream, and puréed roasted garlic. Whisk until fully incorporated.
2. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
