Red Velvet Cake Waffles

This sweet and chocolatey waffle is a red velvet cake-lover’s dream come true. Top with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles to make it extra-special.

INGREDIENTS

1. 1 bag Pioneer® Morning Bounty Pancake & Waffle Mix
2. 10 Eggs
3. 10 cups Water
4. 1 ¼ cups Oil
5. 5 oz. Red food color
6. 7 ½ tbsp. Cocoa powder
7. 15 tbsp. Sugar
8. Whipped cream
9. Chocolate sprinkles

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Whisk together the eggs, water, oil, and food color in a large mixing bowl.
2. Add dry ingredients and whisk until fully incorporated.
3. Ladle the waffle iron manufacture recommended amount of batter onto a preheated griddle sprayed with pan release.
4. Bake for 2-3 minutes, or according to waffle iron instructions, until golden brown and crisp.
5. Serve topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.
