Bacon & Cheddar Waffle Biscuit Sandwich with Maple-Butter Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat Belgian-style waffle maker. 
  2. Prepare Pioneer® Old Fashioned Biscuit Gravy Mix per package instructions. Keep warm. 
  3. Gently warm maple syrup in a saucepan. Whisk in butter in tablespoons one at a time, being sure not to boil the mixture. 
  4. Whisk in maple syrup and butter mixture into warm gravy. Keep warm for service. 
  5. Place frozen Conestoga™ Simple Split® Southern Style Biscuit Dough into waffle maker. Cook for 3 – 3 ½ minutes until fully cooked. Split the biscuit immediately. 
  6. Build waffle biscuit sandwiches with bacon, cheddar cheese, and serve maple butter sauce on the side.
