1 bag Pioneer® All Purpose Breading and Batter Mix (216555), divided
8 lbs. Frozen cheese ravioli, cooked and drained
Vegetable oil, for frying
1 gal. Marinara sauce
2 bunches Basil, chopped, for garnish
4 cups Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Whisk together 3 lbs. Batter Mix and 3 lbs. water (equal parts mix and water) in large bowl. Place remaining dry batter mix in separate large bowl.
Dip raviolis in Pioneer wet batter mix, then remove from the batter allowing excess to drip back into bowl. Coat each ravioli in the dry batter mix, shaking off any excess.
Fry in oil preheated to 350°F until fully cooked, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F, about 2-3 minutes.
Place 8 raviolis on a plate per serving. Garnish evenly with basil and Parmesan. Serve with 4 oz. of marinara sauce.
