CINNAMON DULCE DE LECHE STICKS

SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 cups Conestoga® Sweet Cream Pancake Mix
  2. 4 each Whole Grain Cinnamon Glazed French Toast Sticks, Defrosted
  3. 1 cup Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Melted
  4. 2 Tbsp. Sweet Cream Caramel Dulce de Leche
  5. 2 slices Precooked Regular 3/8 Diced Bacon
  6. 1/3 cup Light Cream Whipped Topping
  7. 1 sprig Fresh Mint

INSTrUCTIONS

  1. Take French toast sticks and soak in ice cream for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare 1/2 lb. of pancake batter following package instructions.
  3. Transfer sticks to pancake batter and fry in fryer at 350° for 4 minutes or until golden brown (flip once while in fryer).
  4. Plate fried sticks.
  5. Top with dulce de leche, bacon bits, whipped cream, and mint.

Note: Pancake batter should be on the thick side. If it loosens up when transferring sticks to mixture, add more dry mix.
