Red Velvet Cake Waffles

This sweet and chocolatey waffle is a red velvet cake-lover’s dream come true. Top with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles to make it extra-special.

  • 1 bag Pioneer® Morning Bounty Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 10 Eggs
  • 10 cups Water
  • cups Oil
  • 5 oz. Red food color
  • tbsp. Cocoa powder
  • 15 tbsp. Sugar
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate sprinkles


  • Whisk together the eggs, water, oil, and food color in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add dry ingredients and whisk until fully incorporated.
  • Ladle the waffle iron manufacturer’s recommended amount of batter onto a preheated griddle sprayed with pan release.
  • Bake for 2 to 3 minutes, or according to waffle iron’s instructions, until golden brown and crisp.
  • Serve topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.
