Southern Style Poutine

This Southern twist on a French-Canadian classic features crispy fries covered in gravy and topped with cheese curds, popcorn chicken, and chopped bacon.

INGREDIENTS

1. 1 bag Pioneer® Southern Style Brown Gravy Mix (233428), prepared
2. 1 bag Pioneer® Pre-Dip Batter Mix (216558), prepared
3. 1 bag Pioneer® Spicy Texas-Style Premium Batter and Breading Mix (216556)
4. French fries
5. Cheese curds
6. Bacon, cooked, chopped
7. Chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces
8. Green onions

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Dip chicken into the pre-dip and then coat immediately with Pioneer® Spicy Texas-Style Premium Batter and Breading Mix. Deep fry until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
2. For each order, place prepared French fries (extra crispy recommended) onto a serving dish.
3. Top with 2 to 4 oz. of prepared gravy.
4. Top with popcorn chicken, bacon, and cheese curds.
5. Garnish with chopped green onions.
