Creamy Red Pepper Sauce

Roasted red pepper purée and a pinch of cayenne can turn one of our gravy mixes into a flavorfully colorful sauce with a little kick.

INGREDIENTS

1. 1 qt. Pioneer® Old Fashioned Biscuit Gravy Mix (94706), Pioneer® Peppered Old Fashioned Gravy Mix (94722), or Pioneer® Country Style Gravy Mix (94595), prepared
2. 3 cups Chicken stock
3. 2 cups Roasted red pepper, puréed
4. 1 punch Cayenne

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Combine prepared gravy with chicken stock, puréed roasted red pepper, and a pinch of cayenne. Whisk until fully incorporated.
2. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
