Bacon Brownie Poppers

Freshly baked brownie balls, loaded with crispy, chopped bacon and dredged in sweet cream pancake batter, are quick-fried and dusted with powdered sugar.

INGREDIENTS

1. 1 bag Pioneer® Chocolate Flavored Brownie Mix, prepared
2. 1 bag Conestoga® Sweet Cream Pancake & Waffle Mix, prepared
3. 4 lb. Bacon, cooked, chopped
4. Flour

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Add chopped bacon to the brownie batter and bake according to package directions. Cool.
2. Use a 2 oz. scoop to scoop out brownies and form into a ball (roll in hand if necessary to compress.)
3. Roll brownie balls into flour and then dip into pancake batter. Drain excess batter.
4. Fry at 365°F for 60-90 seconds. Let cool slightly.
5. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
