Sausage Gravy

The crowning touch for biscuits and gravy made easy by adding chicken stock and browned sausage to one of our gravies.


  • 1 qt. Pioneer® Old Fashioned Biscuit Gravy Mix (94706), Pioneer® Peppered Old Fashioned Gravy Mix (94722), or Pioneer® Country Style Gravy Mix (94595), prepared
  • ½ cup Chicken stock or drippings
  • 1 lb. Sausage, browned and crumbled
  • 2 tsp. Black pepper, ground


  • Combine prepared gravy with chicken stock (or drippings), crumbled browned sausage, and ground black pepper. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
