Roasted Garlic Sauce

Roasted garlic and heavy cream can turn one of our simple gravy mixes into a marvelous Italian sauce that’s ideal for chicken, veal, vegetables and pasta.


  • 1 qt. Pioneer® Old Fashioned Biscuit Gravy Mix (94706), Pioneer® Peppered Old Fashioned Gravy Mix (94722), or Pioneer® Country Style Gravy Mix (94595), prepared
  • 2 cups Chicken stock
  • 2 cups Heavy cream (reduced to 1 cup)
  • 2 Tbsp. Roasted garlic, puréed (about 10 cloves)


  • Combine prepared gravy with chicken stock, reduced heavy cream, and puréed roasted garlic. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
