Bangers & Mash

This hearty comfort dish of sausage, mashed potatoes, and vegetables smothered in gravy is great for lunch or dinner!

  • 1 bag Pioneer® Southern Style Brown Gravy Mix (233428)
  • Pork or beef sausages, cut into 3- to 4-inch pieces
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Red onion, sliced
  • English peas, optional


  • Prepare Pioneer® Southern Style Brown Gravy Mix according to package directions. Hold on a steamtable at 165°F during service.
  • For each order, start with plating desired amount of mashed potatoes.
  • Garnish with English peas or other vegetables.
  • Lay 3 or more bangers on mashed potatoes.
  • Ladle 2 to 3 oz. of prepared gravy on top of bangers and potatoes.
  • Garnish with onion slivers and serve.
