Creamy Red Pepper Sauce

Roasted red pepper purée and a pinch of cayenne can turn one of our gravy mixes into a flavorfully colorful sauce with a little kick.


  • 1 qt. Pioneer® Old Fashioned Biscuit Gravy Mix (94706), Pioneer® Peppered Old Fashioned Gravy Mix (94722), or Pioneer® Country Style Gravy Mix (94595), prepared
  • 3 cups Chicken stock
  • 2 cups Roasted red pepper, puréed
  • 1 punch Cayenne


  • Combine prepared gravy with chicken stock, puréed roasted red pepper, and a pinch of cayenne. Whisk until fully incorporated.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
